picoPSU update
Posted by: quackmore Nov,22.2009-23:57

For anyone who is interested, I just received my 105w power adaptor for my picoPSU.

The Problem (with 60w):
My original picoPSU came with a 60w adaptor (12v 5amp). I've had problems booting up. Once powered up, my Falcon/ct60 ran fine on it though. I give it power, the LED comes on but not the fan (or system for that matter). I turn it off until the LED starts to fade in brightness, then I turn it back on and the fan spins, led lights, and system powers up.

The problem (w/ 105w adaptor):
The problem still exists, but it doesn't seem as difficult to boot up. That is to say, less time turning it on and off until it works.

It's looking like I'll have to return it for a 120w adaptor. I'll post again the results when it arrives.
