What software do you expect to work with ctPCI and Radeon?
This is an important question, since SuperVidel promises much better compatibility and it seems some people tend not to get ctPCI and wait for SV instead. (which makes it possible that ctPCI gets cancelled due to to small interest/numbers)
I'd imagine that besides Desktop apps ported games like Quake or SDL ports may work flawless.
Demo stuff and original games will not work on Radeon, i guess.
Do you agree here? If so, Quake will run much better, because the slow stock videl gfx seems to be the bottleneck.
In my opinion, ctPCI is a must-have for ct6x users. And when SuperVidel is released , ctPCI has SV's adress space already reserved, so from what i understand you can have both.
Even when SV is installed, ctPCI will still give you a fast IDE port and the possibility to use a PCI network card.
Comments welcome :)
