Oh, I thought a plasma was being proposed as a viable solution, my mistake. I also know of other people who have Amigas who say that they have no problem with 50hz into their HDTV's as well. My only thought was that a different TV wouldn't be an option for me.
On the converter/scanner side, if there is a slight "jitter" or whatever you wanna call it because of the conversion, it may be tolerable, or hopefully even unnoticeable if I'm lucky.
It's claimed that the device has the same effect as a vertical hold. On my RGB monitor, running 50hz on it using the vert. hold to keep it from rolling results in a smooth-looking picture.
In any case, I'll try to buy and test this thing out in the next month if possible. I really hope this works out...
