A: Yes. But is this software launched automatically from the auto folder etc? (or does the Quertyx have onboard non-volatile storage)
B: Should work in 060 mode too, since the accellerator has absolutely nothing to do with this. It's all handled by the standard stuff on the motherboard.
Again, it would make sense to review the grounding of the cable, since bad grounding may manifest itself in funny ways. I had some issues with my eiffel once, which was simply a case of bad grounding.
