My Falcon060 is back up and running again after a major HD crash and burnt. I run my CT60 at 91 mhz and I also have the bus sped up to 50/25 mhz. I am currently getting 7.3Mb/sec. So yeah it loads Atari programs extremely fast. I am using a Maxtor 80GB with 7200RPM 8MB cache 3.5 inch drive also with a 2.5 to 3.5 inch adapter. I can tell you that CPU speed will make a difference. I turned my Falcon down to 72 mhz and got in the 6-6.3Mb/sec range. So to answer your question CPU speed and bus speed all improve disc access speeds. At least according to the CT60 boot screen.

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
