You've got the point here.
I really don't like to tell a processor : do nothing please (NOP)
So, it's a kind of game for me not to use NOP if it doesn't cost more cycles and if I can do it in another way.
No serious explanation here.
Too bad there's no movem in the DSP instruction set ...
