By the way, does someone has a description on how the MMU is using this register to agregate the 2 banks and translate the addresses ?
For example, if you write to $200 when bank 0 is configured as 512 KB and you configure bank 0 as 2 MB, then the data you wrote will now be at $400 (or $600, I don't remember) instead of $200.
The TOS is using this behaviour to check for RAM size, but I can't find a description of how the MMU is doing this translation.
