falcon double vbl bug

Hello,
I saw at the Silly Venture party that Thadoss had a strange bug on his falcon game using the falcon connected to the beamer, after discussing with dune's members they said it was the VBL signal that was bounced back, causing the VBL interrupt to be launched 2 times.

I think the falcon demo of Paradox suffered of the same problem, causing the demo to be endlessly slow at the end.

Do you know a good way or a sample code to avoid/detect this ? And how to test it ?
I would really want to avoid this strange bug if I ever submit something on falcon at a party one day.
