I'm doing the LOAD AS YOU GO from harddisk routine. I hate waiting for programs and games to load from floppy. I recommend creating a harddisk installer for your game and just load segments/ levels when needed.
I know some people don't have harddisks so make it run from floppy as well and use the load as you go routine :)
Just a thought.
