For m68k asm files you can try vasm with gcc compatible object output, so you will not have to change the sources at all to match this awful gas syntax. Anyway for gas syntax check this:

I currently use Vincent's tools in my projects under Ubuntu with vasm and scons, which is pretty cool thing.
