Hi all,
when you're running a CT60+CTPCI and have booted to PCI/ATI video, how can you get the monitor type, etc. that's connected to the Videl? That's presuming you have both video outputs (ATI/Videl) connected to two different monitors or to a VGA selector switch.
Calling XBIOS Vsetmode(-1) or mon_type doesn't seem to fetch the Videl info when you're in PCI video mode.
I guess you'd have to poll the Videl hardware registers to get to that info?
Another question:
how to determine if the CTPCI is actually in PCI video mode?
I was thinking about something like this:
- check if your're running on a CT60
- get physical video address
- check if physical video address points to fast RAM or ST RAM
- assume it's PCI video when screen is in fast RAM
Not sure if that's safe enough though...
Background is: I want to make ST games run on the CT60 /w CTPCI and want to properly initialise the Videl when the game has been started from PCI video mode. ;)
