Hi Leo,

yes it have four stereo pairs.
However only one pair of the four can be connected to the built-in DAC. The other three pairs need to be routed over the DSP-port with external DAC or pure digital output.

Eg, it's a feature for music professionals who want separate output for each channel. Most professional audio apps support it (including the fabulous ACE Tracker).


How do you plan to improve quality with more channels by the way? A 16-bit stereo pair should be enough to simulate all the Amiga bits (eg 8 bit sample + 6 bit volume = 14-bit per channel) ?
