ShapeShifter is an exellent program, but is not developed anymore.
Basilisk is supproted, and is made from the same person who made ShapeShifter. I asume that the intention behind Basilisk is to start programming from scratch and the goal is to end up with a better program than b4. I have not tried the latest versions of Basilisk, so I'm not sure what has improved from ShapeShifter.
