Hi Defjam!

I've never had a falcon myself so I don't have answer. What do you mean by "noisy"? a kind of signed/unsigned 8bit sound problem?
I think you could record the sound output at 44100Hz or more using a standard PC sound card and look at the waveform under a PC sample editor such as CoodEdit. Maybe the picture of the waveform will give you the answer of what's really happend.
