When in the Falcon030 processor control register ($FF8007) the machine is set to STE bus emulation ON (bit 5 cleared) digisound using the YM2149 registers sounds noisy.
If the machine is set to STE bus emulation OFF (bit 5 set) everything just sounds crispy clear).
Any ideas why ?
