with 32bit bus, Videl steals less memory access slots from CPU.
e.g.:
TV resolution 320 x 200 TC takes 64000 (128000) 16bit slots or 32000 32bit slots per frame. For PAL (50Hz): 3 200 000 16bit slots per second or 1 600 000 32bit slots per second.
as far as I remember Falcon's memory can grant 4 millions slots per second.
of course this is an theory :)
