Yeah some real world benchmarks would be nice, agreed.

The thing is, when you use shared mode you are also wasting a fair ammount of cycles in the actual exception taken to switch between who has the bus. So your code has to be pretty much streamlined to get anything nice out of it...

Then again, this kind of hacking is good fun, and i wish you luck in finding some use for it :)
