hehe, this is always kind of magic ;-)
but the most important fact / help is there's buffer between CPU and DSP -- so when you write something to DSP, you can write another word even when DSP still didn't load the previous one.
it works in both ways. i tested this stuff a long time ago, maybe i can find my notes on this subject.
