Another DSP question
Posted by: Patrice Mandin Jul,30.2008-22:49

Hello again,

Could someone tell me what happens if I write different sized values on the host port, what will the dsp read on its side?

CPU writes 0x00123456 on host port (32 bits write)
DSP reads 0x123456 from host port (of course).
Now CPU writes 0x789a on host port (16 bits)
DSP reads 0x12789a, or 0x00789a ?
And then CPU writes 0xbc on host port (8 bits)
DSP reads 0x1278bc, or 0x0000bc ?

That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
