the configure stuff just assume SDL_mixer has same compilation flags as SDL. The problem is the dependencies of SDL_mixer, which are not auto-added on MiNT (whereas on other platforms, with dynamically loaded libraries, it's done automatically).
So all libraries used by SDL_mixer must be added in the LDFLAGS (same for SDL_image).
