The irony of it all was that I needed to check if Ssystem() was available (I needed the getcookie-function). And checking a cookie in that context would be rather silly :)
Freemint docs mentioned that I should issue Ssystem(-1, -1, 0) (or something like that) to check if it's implemented. Seemed to work.
