It's perfectly legal and quite handy to speed up VDI graphics. If you are using different combinations of write modes colors and such and having to constantly swap write modes or colors. Simply open more than one workstation, set each one up for a different effect. Then simply by switching the handle you switch the effect. Just make sure you close them when done.
