LZ78 (very close to LZSS if I remind well?) has a very small decoding routine and a good packing ratio (compare to LZ77). Drawback is the packing time (slower than lz77, but who cares?).
For ratio, it's not as good as "mixed" packer (LZSS+Huffman) , that is: ZIP, LZH, UPX, etc.
I personnaly use LZH on my demos with a "polling" loop waiting for the floppy drive when I depack at the same time I load.

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
