YM registers, interrupts
Posted by: Peter Jan,24.2006-09:39

Howdy,

I'm accessing the YM directly in one of my projects. This usually works perfectly, except that sometimes my IDE harddrive (f030) is unintentionally turned off. I'm pretty sure I'm not touching that particular register, and I suspect that an interrupt accesses the YM registers too. This should lead to all kinds of nastyness.

So how should one do this?

A: Only use OS routines
B: Disable all interrupts while accessing the YM
