Yes you think they are a fake group, but they are doing a pretty good job keeping making it look non-fake if you actually look into it.

If you check carefully it seems like the domain name they have (hermansamso.com) is registred at Gran Canaria (Spain):

Registration Date.... 2008-11-13
Expiry Date.......... 2010-11-13
Organisation Name.... Lycos, Inc.
Organisation Address. Rafael Cabrera 22, 6A
Organisation Address.

Organisation Address. 35002
Organisation Address. Spain
Organisation Address. SPAIN


Then if we continue to look up this adress, we find that it exists, here's a Google map link:

And finally the phone book in Spain also have a Herman Samso at that address, link:

Gran Canaria is a rather long way from the demoscene, I don't think I would go very often to demoparties either if I lived there :-)
