Mpeg2 compile question
Posted by: Laurent / Thadoss Jan,07.2015-15:16

Hi all,

I wanted to do more tests for hatari DSP and I wanted to use the Mpeg2 decoder for tests (downloaded on DHS files in section demo coding).

There's the decoder.asm file that I recompile with QDSP013B.TTP

(There's at least the file equates.asm which seems missing, I've found another one on my harddisk).

The resulting file decoder.P56 is a bit bigger than the original decoder.dsp file. Is it normal ?

Then, I compile the file mp2inc.s with genst3 (I include the recompiled decoder.P56)
For info, I had to add a line at the beginning of the source file :

opt p=68030/68882

Then, when I use the resulting mp2inc.bin in TERE RA'I (for test purpose), I have no sound. It works if I use the original mp2inc.bin file.

Does someone here knows if I do something wrong or if the mpeg2 library can't be recompiled ?

Laurent
