I guess there are may reasons to be in a group, or not to be in a group.

Some are lone wolfs, some seek the mass to join.

For me joining Paradox was some kind of promise to make good productions together.

And its nice to plan and know the others head in the same direction.
Its an advantage to live next to each other, but its not really a need nowadays with IRC and Internet and suprisingly we got phones, too !

Its more a matter of good communication then groups work over distance, too.
