Thanks to all who responded!
SH3, yes you read it correctly, we are inviting the "dark side" too! However, I don't see this as a risk. First of all, some sceners from other platforms were present at Outline 1 and 2, and they proved to be both friendly and open-minded. Some may remember Sander, the C-64 guy who helped us a lot at the bar during Outline 2004, or Skrebbel, Sparcus and Plek who made an appearance in 2005, or Rogue, or or or... Such individuals are far from a threat, rather a bonus for the party IMHO.
Ofcourse there will be more attention for non-Atari stuff at the next Outline. It wouldn't make sense to invite other platforms, then offer them only Atari in return. If you cannot stand being in the room where a C-64 or Xbox demoshow is presented, or if you hate Windows or Amiga so much that you will not even pee in the same toilet as demosceners using those platforms, then Outline may not be the party for you (you're free to wait or pee in the bushes outside ofcourse.. ;)).
But in all other cases, chances are you'll like Outline 2006 more than previous editions. I've visited a whole bunch of local parties over the last year or so, and I can confirm that the atmosphere these days is way better in the late 90's. There's genuine appreciation for the Atari scene for sure, the best recent example would be Lotek's demoshow at Evoke which was a big success. But in the same line of thinking, the Amiga060 demoshow at DAS was a really nice experience for us Atari ppl too. Why not have more of this "peeking over the garden wall" ? :-)
Zweckform, it is certainly not our intention to be a direct competitor to Noise. We rather see ourselves as a competitor to Paracon, IMP and/or SillyVenture for the silver medal. I am personally planning to visit both Noise and Outline, and others should do the same if they are able to. If you can go to only 1 Atari party in 2006, then Slovakia is the place to be. But ofcourse, if people consider Slovakia too far away or if Easter simply doesn't fit their schedule, I'd be happy to welcome them 6 weeks later at Outline.

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
