somehow i feel quite passionate about the last few items on the thread.
i basically agree with felice here. outline parties have ruled the past years, and have been totaly fantastic to attend.
but its true what havoc says. if everyone says 'oh its not EIL. EIL would be better, so we dont attend'... what shall happen, as if by magic less people attend, and its a smaller party.
i dont believe a few extra euros cost is a factor. the difference in price is a big trip to the supermarket or something, and pays for a decent bed. what might cost more is travel, but i strongly believe dresden is not any better connected in that regard than SE holland.
easter was a bad date this year, too early thats true, and not much to do in order to fix that.
i say this now - i will personally attend any reasonably priced european atari demo party held over easter next year. scandanavia is more expensive for UKers to visit, so i would have to consider that more.
