DMA sound volume
Posted by: Simon Sunnyboy / Paradize Feb,05.2005-11:10

I wonder if there is any problem with DMA sound volume?
My code works - it plays YM music with additional DMA sound in the background.
To be able to hear the digi while music plays, I pumped up the volume of the samples.
In STEEM all plays as intended but on my Falcon the digi samples turn out to be way too loud. I have no real STE to check which volume level is the right one.
I doubt STEEM is fully accurate and I tend to lower the volume levels back to Falcon level.
Might it be a problem of the Falcon sound system which is more flexible than the STE?
Can anyone help on this?
