cyclone, i know of no such manual. many other people have been asking recently for the same thing and nothing has been forthcoming.
however musicmon2 is perhaps the most simple YM editor to get to grips with, and at the same time being one of the most powerful. if you have any specific questions i'm sure i or someone else will be able to answer them.
