@DML : thanks for that answer. Btw your DOOM engine on STe is so impressive ! Hmm I think I'm going to shelf "raycasting" away for some time then. Don't get me wrong, I see what you mean but please keep in mind that :
1. I'm no coder and I'm way below the average intelligence :)
2. My blog is aimed either at an audience who knows no shit about demos or to an audience of sceners who don't know about the Atari scene (of course Atari sceners are welcome to visit my blog as well).
To put it in a nutshell I'm trying to cover as many "odd" words as possible while not being a complete asshole :) Sure I mixed up some things already (hey this is a sine curve not a spline, this kind of stuff) but I'm doing my best.
