Okay, I'm not sure what happened there but here's another try.
Since the Falcon has an IDE interface you can easily get a sd to 44 pin ata adapter and replace the internal hard drive.
But I never liked that idea so I bought a 3-way 2.5" cable and replaced the one the Falcon had. Then I looked for a SD interface that had master/slave capability so I could use the internal hard drive as master and the adapter as slave. But I couldn't find any so I went for CF. So the CF is now my transfer drive (formatted to be read both by Falcon and PC).
Mine and Grazey's Falcons work like that and 100% reliably. Total cost was about 15eur.
Now, if anyone can look around and find a SD adapter with master/slave capability please share it here.
