3D routines of Thunderdome
Posted by: Orion_ Dec,28.2014-21:33

I accidentally found this post about low polygon models
This is the two 3D models used in the Thunderdome demo.
http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2210056&postcount=12731

I was really impressed by this demo, like, how can a 3D bumpmap lightsource textured cube can run within 2 frames on an ST ! but also by the Wizard 3D model, but I was guessing something like 20 or 30 poly max !
Unless this model was optimised by the coder, it seems it has 130 poly !

no mindbomb, mindblown !

One question, imagine what we could do if using such 3D routines on a CT60.

Ultimate respect to checkpoint.
