I always thought it was Super Neo Demo Show from TEX (also first lower border kill). Released september 1987.

I know Atari Legend list Predator as 1987, but that was really the CPC version, the ST was 1988 and Amiga 1989 (both have the (c) 1987 in the title picture though). Atari reviews of Predator dates to about may/june 1988, so it was probably around that time. But! Predator seems to feature two digi voices and one plain YM.

Then we have Bad Cat, that's a true 1-channel digidrum zik (Mad Max!). The Super Neo Show scroller mentions that Mad Max will do the music for it, and that it will be a 3-channel digizik, but looks like that didn't materialize. A wild guess is that the Bad Cat music and Super Neo are using the same rout. The earliest review of Bad Cat I found is from september 1987! So it's rivaling the Super Neo for sure.

Which was really the first between Bad Cat and Super Neo? Only Hippel would know :) And Where did the 3-channel digi Bad Cat go? Only Hippel knows :)
