I am wondering what kind of cable you would be knocking up.
As far as i remember, the ST(E)'s external disk drive connection
is serial and most likely, your PC disk drive has a Shugart
connector.
You would need some converter logic in between. If you have
that, i think it should work just fine as long as it has an ID select
jumper.
