The OSX binary version was added to the download directory http://download.tuxfamily.org/hatari/1.7.0/ as hatari_1.7_OSX_x86_ppc.zip
There's no official support for it, but it should work for PPC and x86, with OSX 10.4 to 10.8.
Note that it uses the "old" cpu core, so it works better in STF/STE mode than in Falcon mode
