Definitvly the plan is to become "multi-platform" :) Current SainT CPU core emulation is based on StarCream library, wich is an x86 assembly library. (obviously not portable).
James Boulton rewrite a 68k CPU core emulation from scratch few months (years?) ago and we started a "Portable SainT" project. James suceed in running it on iPad and I ported it to PlayStation-3! (so we know it's portable).
There is tons of work to do a release a PC version including all great features of the current PC version (recording, memory snapshot, disk selection, etc.).
We could imagine the future for PC version will be a completly new GUI, using the new portable SainT engine.
