maxYMiser supports a little over 8 and a half octaves of range. But honestly, probably the top two and half octaves don't have great frequency resolution and aren't in tune (I'm sure you already know it DA). That type of frequency is really only useful for effects I think.
I think theres a case for an extra one or maybe two tempered octaves in Musicmon, but after that the results are not really tuneful or usable. In that upper range YM is best used for whistles and dive bombs which Musicmon already does very well I think.
