It could be useful, I can learn new sprites tricks! :)
Otherwise, reading the great paranoid BLITTER-FAQ, I am surprised by the method used to display a sprite.
Paranoid:
'' You copy the sprite data of each bitplane into one buffer using "NOT Source OR Target" OP-mode. The resulting buffer can be copied to the screen in AND-OP-mode for all bitplanes involved.''
I use another method:
Copy the mask sprite data of each bitplane to the screen using ''Source AND Target'' OP-mode.
And copied the sprite to the screen using ''Source OR Target'' OP-mode.
With this method there is no buffer to the first operation.
