I manage to play the amanita files under VLC (Linux). Do you think they've applied the ROL 3 trick ?
No I don't think so, they probably have some corrupt stream compensation routine that skips the bad part. I hadn't taken that into account. Next time I'll rotate the entire file :)
Can Noring tells me more about the read squewness in the DSP code ?
He probably can, at least before he was reading the Hatari mailing list, but perhaps not after the change to berlios. Your best bet is to mail him. Last time I had contact was about one year ago, then this address worked: noring -at- nocrew -dot- org.
