The capture, encoding etc have taken weeks if you count 40h/week, and months in actual time. Luckily much of the old demos raw material could be taken from the Atariscene 1985-1988 DVD as I still have the source data for that.
Much time was spent on investigating a tolerable way of getting interlaced PAL-data out to 50 FPS MPEG-4. It's still not an automated task, but sort of doable. Except for Falcon demos that switches between highres and lowres.. These need different deinterlacers on different parts of the videos! Urg.. But more of those will follow when I have the energy ;)
