ancient STs with external fdd
Posted by: gwEm Sep,11.2008-14:12

i was looking abit into really ancient ST machines to understand the feasibility of putting maxYMiser on them. from what i see on the net it seems the time line goes like this:

260ST -> 0.5mb and disktos
520ST -> 0.5mb and romtos
520ST+ -> 1mb and romtos
520STM -> 0.5mb, romtos and RF modulator

some questions:
* is this right?
* how common are each of these machines?
* does anyone have any in their collections?
* what is the free system RAM on the 260ST after boot? (almost nothing i guess?)
* do the rom machines listed all have TOS1.00 installed?

thanks all :)
