AFTER some Atari ppl had left, but WELL WITHIN the planned and pre-announced schedule. So the situation wasn't perfect, but we did stick to the plan. The real question imho is whether the planned and pre-announced schedule adequately matched the average vistor's schedule, and here the answer must be no (in my opinion). That's the first thing we should change, if you ask me. The system itself worked well enough already.

No, unfortunately we don't. We can speculate, but since the voting was not public we do not in fact know anything for sure. We can assume Wamma's 2600 demo was placed too low, but without re-counting the votes and including the opinions of those who left early, we just don't know what would've happened. Speculation is the right word here I believe, and it's not a word I'd like to build the foundation of my organisation on ;)

Voting is done by the visitors. We can try to facilitate and even educate our visitors, and for such purposes would be happy to do so. But there ofcourse is no way we can or want to directly influence these free and fair elections. You're old and wise enough to realize that no party voting has ever been or will ever be totally fair. The best we can hope for is a result that's not completely unfair. ;-)
