We already told a few people early this year, many others have guessed it by now:
There will not be a ParaCon this year.
We had a meeting yesterday evening in which we once again had to affirm that we simply lack organizers this year.
Quite a few people have offered their support and as much as we appreciate their offer, it just wouldn't be the same without the usual "core team".
We thank all attendees of the previous 7 public ParaCon parties for having been there, for making it an enjoyable party for both organisers and guests and their support over all the years.
This does not necessarily mean the final end of the ParaCon series - We will consider again over summer next year, but for this year it's certain: No ParaCon 9 in 2007.
