I 'registered' my interest a while ago, is the project likelly to go ahead soon? it looks to be the perfect solution to an atari hard drive.

It's a nice thing for sure, but it won't be a perfect harddisk replacement. The speed is only about 1/8 of a harddisk on the DMA port and flash memory have a limited number of writes before they go out.

I am actually curious to know where the bottle neck for the transfer speed is. The DMA port it isn't, the flash memory it isn't, hddriver it isn't.. It have to be be some logic on the actual satandisk ?
