Well, it doesn't really claim to be a VCD, i just said i had encoded it in a way that it easily fits on a VCD while it is in fact an MPEG4.
If a player relies on the suffix instead of reading
the header, renaming it to mp4 should do, just
like you explained.
Still you're right and the aspect ratio is wrong indeed, which is my fault ... Still, it'll have to do for the moment ;-)
