You can take off the hs/fan, many of us did. Remove the CPU and put it in a CPU tray to hold it, then use a sharp razor to get at what glue you can, then apply twisting motion to the hs. Be careful of the pins under the CPU. When the glue gives, it gives suddenly so be careful.
