Yes, we tried the driver with the newest version of MagicNet that we could find at the time, some three years ago. It didn't work. We also compiled the code of the rtl8012 driver and tried it with MagicNet and it also didn't work, although the supplied rtl8012.xif worked. We came to the conclusion that the API had been changed in the newer MintNet, and didn't do anything further. I think we tried contacting Vassilis, but nothing happened.
