You have to write your own program which display another pic (or do nothing..) and upload it to the flashrom.
I made some demo effect (something like Orion did now) but it had me climbing the walls after a couple of days due to a few seconds longer boot time :-)
So instead I wrote a simple pic displayer which show me a DHS logo and exit right away.
